The Greatest Treasury of All
02.14.21
On Valentine’s Day this year, I had a vision of myself looking like the tabernacle of Moses. I watched as Jesus walked into my physical body, which I knew to be the outer courts. He stepped into my mind and my thoughts knowing the inner place of who I am. And suddenly, he laid upon my heart in the form of a lamb. As his blood was shed for my sins it ran upon my heart and covered it completely. My heart soaked up the sacrifice of Jesus and was supernaturally transformed into a pure gold treasure chest that I knew was the ark of the new covenant. It opened up and glorious light invaded the atmosphere. Jesus reached his hands inside of my heart and began to pull out symbols of his faithfulness to me.
I knew that my heart was the holy of holies. It was a place past the veil where I could connect with Jesus in a deeper way. And just like the ark of the covenant held symbols of the miracles God did for Israel, like a jar of Manna and a budding branch, my heart held treasures of the faithfulness of God.
As I gazed upon these countless treasures, I saw the tumors that He had removed from my body when I was diagnosed with cancer at nine years old. I saw the army fatigues that the angel wore when he went to awaken my husband from deception, so that we could meet and one day walk in our callings together. I saw the prom dress that I wore my senior year that symbolized my own prophetic word fulfilled. When the doctors told me I was going to die, I told my dad, “I wanna go prom dress shopping, because I’m going to wear one one day!” I saw a jar of raindrops that God had collected once when I asked him to stop the rain for me. I saw the anointing oil that God poured over my body when I birthed Isabella, so that I would stretch and not tear from childbirth. I saw the sword that the angel of the Lord used to cut off the demonic serpent that tried to suffocate my son in the birth canal as he was being delivered.
I also saw the spiritual caution sign that kept my mother from walking across a walk way just as a massive accident took place right in front of her and my children. If they would have walked when it was their turn to go, they would have gotten ran over, but God had told me to pray in advanced and He sent angels to keep them protected. I saw the bottle of toilet bowl cleaner that my children drank, but miraculously did not get poisoned from. I saw the EEG machine symbolizing a clean report of health after Isaac had multiple traumatic seizures.
I saw countless prophetic symbols of every encounter that I have had with Jesus in the secret place. The large table where Jesus beckoned me to gather people to commune with Him. There was a giant nose from a dream He had given me about discernment. A picture of the mountain tops, a spiritual place where I often go to speak with Jesus. A bundle of golden wheat from a spiritual harvest field we’ve danced in together. Every single act of God‘s faithfulness was on display as treasures hidden in my heart. This treasury was far more valuable than fame or fortune, for it held the greatest significance of my life, my relationship with the living God.
What are you storing up in your treasury? When times are hard and seasons of disappointment drag on, this treasury in our hearts is like a savings account where we can make withdrawals. If you have gleaned from the faithfulness of God, and you know his goodness by personal experience, then in times of famine you will find security and you will feast on that which God Has already done, knowing that He can and will do it again. I encourage you to spend your time saving up treasures in your heart.
“Don’t keep hoarding for yourselves earthly treasures that can be stolen by thieves. Material wealth eventually rusts, decays, and loses its value. Instead, stockpile heavenly treasures for yourselves that cannot be stolen and will never rust, decay, or lose their value. For your heart will always pursue what you value as your treasure. The eyes of your spirit allow revelation-light to enter into your being. If your heart is unclouded, the light floods in! But if your eyes are focused on money, the light cannot penetrate and darkness takes its place. How profound will be the darkness within you if the light of truth cannot enter! How could you worship two gods at the same time? You will have to hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t worship the true God while enslaved to the god of money! This is why I tell you to never be worried about your life, for all that you need will be provided, such as food, water, clothing—everything your body needs. Isn’t there more to your life than a meal? Isn’t your body more than clothing? Look at all the birds—do you think they worry about their existence? They don’t plant or reap or store up food, yet your heavenly Father provides them each with food. Aren’t you much more valuable to your Father than they? So, which one of you by worrying could add anything to your life? And why would you worry about your clothing? Look at all the beautiful flowers of the field. They don’t work or toil, and yet not even Solomon in all his splendor was robed in beauty more than one of these! So if God has clothed the meadow with hay, which is here for such a short time and then dried up and burned, won’t he provide for you the clothes you need—even though you live with such little faith? So then, forsake your worries! Why would you say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For that is what the unbelievers chase after. Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require? So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly. Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.”
