The Motherhood Movement
01.29.19
I saw a field full of demonic warriors of darkness, and they were running in my direction. Without fear, and filled with life and light, I, and a legion of warrior women began slaughtering these demonic forces with massive swords. It reminded me of the Amazonian women from the movie Wonder Woman. They were highly trained and fully empowered. I knew this fight was not “against flesh and blood” but intercession from mothers fighting for their children through spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:12).
As the vision ended, I recalled a word from Patricia King, founder of Women on the Frontlines, saying that this year would be a year where women would rise up on every mountain of influence.
The Lord then began speaking to me about a women’s movement in the earth. A movement that demonic forces will be no match against. The agenda of Satan in this season has been to deceive women into complete selfishness, but the agenda of God is to raise up selfless warriors, full of compassion for people, but full of righteous indignation towards the enemy, to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. When the enemy rises up to pervert a thing, you can be sure it is only out of defense for what he knows is quickly coming to destroy him.
As it is in heaven, so shall it be in the earth. I declare and decree that Heaven’s women’s movement is coming. Instead of women living in selfishness and looking to benefit only themselves, they will arise as laid down lovers; living sacrifices that war for their children and the children of others. I believe in this season, the Lord is renewing a prophetic revelation of the spirit of adoption within the church. We will see many women in the church standing up to the abortion agenda by stepping up to the call of fostering and adopting the children of mothers who did “choose life”. Those who cannot adopt or foster, will become those who support mothers who do. Like midwives, Shiprah & Puah (Exodus 1) coming to the aid of mothers and helping them to save children by interceding for them, while also bringing natural help when these mothers are weary and in need of rest.
I even see many spiritual mothers arising in the church, especially those past childbearing years, to mother young adults who are past the age of adoption. They will begin taking those who felt motherless in their childhood (because of their own mothers selfishness) and will teach them how to mother their own children. Many will have no legal papers or biological children, but they will be considered a mother to the motherless by all who know them, like Mother Theresa’s to this generation. “Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman,” says the LORD. “Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes.” Isaiah 54:1-2 (NKJV) It’s time to prepare your hearts to receive His children.
Do not think that the Lord has forgotten the fathers. This movement will make way for them to step into their position to lead and to discipline in their homes. The mothers compassion will provoke transformation in the hearts of men, in fathers, husbands, and sons alike. Just like Jesus’ compassion stirred the Heart of God to give Him power to walk in healing, signs, and wonders. As the fathers are stirred by the mothers compassion, they will come along side them to lead with power and strength. Many mothers who have not been in a position of submission will see their need for help, and begin to fall under the covering of the fathers, as they should.
The Lord is healing family units, and restoring each family function to His original intention. In the words of Rick Pino, “Revival looks like healthy families.” The destruction of the family, was the beginning of a corroding of moral values in America, and so, the rebuilding of the family will be the rebirth and restoration of those morals. At birth your dependency is on mothers and fathers, but at rebirth the dependency should be transitioned to the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, the caretaker of our souls (John 3). “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” Acts 2:17 (NIV)
This is the beginning of Awakening! I challenge you to look at your home and begin aligning its internal working with that of Heaven’s! Show your children what it looks like to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, all throughout the day. Ask the Holy Spirit to invade your meal times and bed time routines. Invite Him in and introduce Him to your children at every available opportunity. Use every situation as a lesson to show them how to fully rely on Him. He alone can change the course of a Nation. And He alone is our salvation and deliverance. “To the fatherless he is a father. To the widow he is a champion friend. To the lonely he makes them part of a family. To the prisoners he leads into prosperity until they sing for joy. This is our Holy God in his Holy Place! But for the rebels there is heartache and despair." Psalms 68:5-6 (TPT)
