The Rumor Weed and The Sword

I saw a vision of a massive principality sitting over the United States. It was despicable, spewing lies and slander, and completely power-hungry. It’s greatness in size blocked the light of the sun and caused the States to be covered in darkness. As people heard it’s lies and false reports, its long, weed-like tentacles would go into their ears and sink deep roots into their hearts. It would then literally feed off of the fear in people’s lives, making it more and more powerful. Anxiety and anger would overcome them. The fear-filled person would then act as a host for this parasitic principality. They’d begin repeating and declaring the lies, and the principalities tentacles would come out of the hosts mouth and into the ears of other people listening. These roots ran deep and connected tons of people. As the principality moved its tentacles the hosts became like marionette puppets connected to strings. They were being used and the more these people would declare the lies and fears, the tighter the grip of the principality got in their hearts.

“He (Jesus) added, 'Words and deeds pollute a person, not food. Evil originates from inside a person. Coming out of a human heart are evil schemes, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, treachery, debauchery, jealousy, slander, arrogance, and recklessness. All these corrupt things emerge from within and constantly pollute a person.'” Mark 7:20-23 (TPT)

Then I heard the scripture from Matthew 17:21, “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” (NKJV). As I prayed and fasted the next morning I saw the prayers and declarations of scriptures from my lips take the shape of a massive two-edged sword of light. I grabbed hold of the sword and it was burning hot. I started wielding the sword at the tentacles of this demonic spirit. Every time I’d slice through the weed-like legs that gripped the heart of a person, the heat of the sword would cause the demonic vine connected to them to whither and die. Next I would reached my hand into the persons chest and would pluck the withered weed from the root. As I placed the sword in their hands, the burning heat radiated through their being and filled them with light, opening their eyes to the truth.

Again and again and again, swords of the Spirit would come out of my mouth as I declared the Word and continued to free others and place a sword in their hands. Those I freed became part of an army wielding the sword and freeing others from deception and unbelief. In a matter of moments, the army multiplied and outnumber those were bound. At this moment, everyone with swords of light came together in unity. The whole army, touched their swords together, and I watched as their smaller swords fit together like puzzle pieces to create a sword clearly intended for a giant. Suddenly, a massive angel of the Lord grabbed this large sword and cut off the head of the principality over the United States. It was like the dawning of a new day! The sun began to rise again, The battlefield was covered in the bodies of those who had been connected to this demonic force. The moment the head was cut off, the weeds inside of them that were bound began to whither. The army of the Lord began running though the battle field and plucking up the remaining roots from their chests and calling them back to life and light!

Jeremiah 1:9-10 Says, “Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: ‘Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.’” (NKJV).

In this season, We must stay firmly founded in the Word of God and equip ourselves with the whole armor that will keep us from being infiltrated by this principality at work! Don’t just believe everything you hear, and be especially aware of not accepting a narrative simply because it fits into your personal biases and experiences. BUT when you do get confirmation from God and are sure of the truth, hold to it with everything!

1 Thessalonians 5:17-23 says, “Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus. Never restrain or put out the fire of the Holy Spirit. And don’t be one who scorns prophecies, but be faithful to examine them by putting them to the test, and afterward hold tightly to what has proven to be right. Avoid every appearance of evil. Now, may the God of peace and harmony set you apart, making you completely holy. And may your entire being—spirit, soul, and body—be kept completely flawless in the appearing of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.” (TPT).

Recently, I heard the Lord very clearly tell me, “This is not a time to be saying your opinion. Only the truth of My Word has the power to demolish the deception and strongholds at work.” I feel a strong warning in my spirit that we must not get caught up in arguments or battles of human wit. We must do as He said and speak only His Words!

This demonic spirit at work gains its power through a perversion of Romans 10:17, which says, “So then, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” It screams, “Hear me! Hear me!” because it’s defilement comes through hearing its lies. Discernment will be key in the coming days! Everything must be filtered through the lenses of the truth of God’s Word. It is by the declaration of the truth in intercession that people will be freed, but it is by an act of love, where we touch the hearts of the wounded, that we will see them fully healed, transformed and awakened to the light of Christ!

Hebrew 4:12 says, “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (NIV).

Discernment is about separating the truth from lies. Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary says to discern means, “to recognize or identify as separate and distinct.” Now, more than ever, It is important that we allow God to separate what is flesh from what is Spirit! We must use our spiritual senses, to distinguish God’s voice above all the other noise, and even above our feelings. It’s ok to be emotional, it’s ok to be passionate, but we must remain holy even in the face of our feelings. Guard you hearts! Do not be found filling yourself more with news, media and conversations with others than you are filling yourself with the Word of God, otherwise your discernment will be tainted and you will find yourself deceived.

This is why fasting is important in this hour. Fasting brings death to our flesh! It brings the issues of our heart to the surface so that the fear, anxiety, pride, greed and selfishness within us can be purged. When we rid ourselves of these things, this principality no longer has anything to feed off of. I encourage you to ask the Lord, “What things should I be fasting right now?” He may tell you to fast media, because it’s influencing you too much or He may ask you to fast foods, whatever it is, everyone who is a believer should be doing some form of regular fasting right now!

“Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers. Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you. Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious. Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart. Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace. In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One! And pray also that God’s revelation would be released through me every time I preach the wonderful mystery of the hope-filled gospel. Yes, pray that I may preach the wonderful news of God’s kingdom with bold freedom at every opportunity. Even though I am chained as a prisoner, I am his ambassador.” Ephesians 6:10-20 (TPT)

The heart of God wills that NO MAN should perish (2 Peter 3:9). We must not draw our swords on human flesh! As I type this, I’m reminded of how Peter cut off the ear of the servant of the high priest who came to arrest Jesus. When we use our words to wound the very people Christ came to save, God is not pleased! This literally cuts off the persons ability to hear the Word of God, which is the thing that causes faith to rise in their hearts, so that they can receive salvation. This is why Jesus reached out and healed the servants ear. He was giving him a chance to one day hear the gospel and believe!

Join with me in praying and declaring Psalm 7 over the United States! As you speak these words envision yourself being freed from the lies of the enemy! Imagine the Lord placing a sword in your hand and preparing you for victorious battle against the darkness of the enemy! God is using our combined voices in this hour to cut off the head of this principality, so that we can run to the aide of those who have been wounded by it!

“Yahweh my God, I turn aside to hide my soul in you. Save me from all those who pursue and persecute me. There is none to deliver me but you! Don’t let my foes fall upon me like fierce lions with teeth bared. Can’t you see how they want to rip me to shreds?” (Verse 1-2)

— God, we cry out for your deliverance from this principality! We hide our souls in you! Protect us from every demonic spirit that seeks to pursue and persecute us!

“Lord, my God, if I were doing evil things, that would be different, for then I would be guilty, deserving all of this. If I have wronged someone at peace with me, if I have betrayed a friend, repaying evil for good, or if I have unjustly harmed my enemy, Then it would be right for you to let my enemy pursue and overtake me. In fact, let them grind me into the ground. Let them take my life from me and drag my dignity in the dust! Pause in his presence” (Verses 3-5)

— Expose every evil way in us! Forgive us for the ways we’ve allowed this principality to gain power by not occupying the land! We repent for wringing other, for betraying our friends, for unjustly harming those who have hurt us! Humble our Nation in repentance that we might acknowledge our need for the Savior, Jesus Christ!

“Now, Lord, let your anger arise against the anger of my enemies. Awaken your fury and stand up for me! Decree that justice be done against my foes. Gather all the people around you. Return to your place on high to preside over them and once more occupy the throne of judgment.” (Verses 6-7)

— We declare that America is yours! We cast down every stronghold that exalts itself against the knowledge of who You are! We lift up praises to your name, and declare that the praise of our lives are building you a throne over this land! God, be seated on the praises of your people! Return to this throne of authority in this Nation, that we would be “one nation, under God!” again!

“You are the Exalted One who judges the people, so vindicate me publicly and restore my honor and integrity. Before all the people declare me innocent. Once and for all, end the evil tactics of the wicked! Reward and prosper the cause of the righteous, for you are the righteous God, the soul searcher, who looks deep into every heart to examine the thoughts and motives.” (Verses 8-9)

— We ask that you would vindicate your chosen people public ally and restore honor and integrity to the house of God! Declare us innocent before all people that they might see the light of Your truth through us! We declare that once and for all you are ending the evil tactics and strategies of the wicked and demonic realm! Bless and prosper the cause of the righteous so we have the provision and influence to bring more into Your Kingdom! Search our souls and examine our hearts, our thoughts and our motives! Make us pure before you!

“God, your wrap-around presence is my protection and my defense. You bring victory to all who reach out for you. Righteousness is revealed every time you judge. Because of the strength of your forgiveness, your anger does not break out every day, even though you are a righteous judge.” (Verses 10-11)

— Manifest Your presence in our lives and communities! I declare, your wrap-around presence is our protection and defense! You, oh God, bring victory to all who reach out to You, so we declare we are reaching out to you now!! Let your righteousness be revealed as you judge! Let the strength of your forgiveness and the blood of Jesus Christ wash over this land! Fill us with righteous indignation. May we, “be angry, but sin not!”

“Yet if the wicked do not repent, you will not relent with your wrath, slaying them with your shining sword. You are the conqueror with an arsenal of lethal weapons that you’ve prepared for them. You have bent and strung your bow, making your judgment-arrows shafts of burning fire.” (Verses 12-14)

— Slay the wicked with your shining sword of Truth! Let the Word of God be declared from every believers mouth! I declare you are equipping and empowering the church with an “arsenal of lethal weapons” now! Fill our mouths with your judgment-arrows of burning fire!

“Look how the wicked conceive their evil schemes. They go into labor with their lies and give birth to trouble. They dig a pit for others to fall into, not knowing that they will be the very ones who will fall into their own pit of failure. For you, God, will see to it that every pit-digger who works to trap and harm others will be trapped and harmed by his own treachery.” (Verses 14-16)

— I pray that every wicked and evil scheme would be exposed! God cut off the reproduction systems of the enemy that they may not give birth to trouble! I declare that ever put they’ve dug to hard others will trap them! I declare that every demonic spirit will be thrown into the pit of hell a lake of burning, all consuming fire!

“But I will give all my thanks to you, Lord, for you make everything right in the end. I will sing my highest praise to the God of the Highest Place!” (Verse 17)

— We glorify your God because you make ALL things right in the end! We sing praise to your name and ask for you to come again! Visit your people! Bring revival to the earth! We sing high praises to the God of the HIGHEST place! In Jesus Name, Amen!
