Order in The Court
November 7, 2020
I saw a vision of a giant court room. I was the one sitting in the seat of the defendant, with a plaque that read “the Bride of Christ”. None other than Satan himself, “the accuser of the brotheren”, sat on the other side of the courtroom as the prosecutor with an endless scroll of grievances against the church. I sat in my seat, knowing it was not false accusations. I, the church, was indeed guilty. Guilty of prayerlessness, unbelief, idolatry, pride, sexual sins, prejudices, selfish deceit, vanity, greed and the list went on.
Satan laughed, feeling though his victory had already been won. He had a legal right to convict the church because it had transgressed the Law! My heart cried out in repentance, “Jesus, forgive me! I know I am guilty and my sin is too great to bare. I’m so sorry.” Suddenly, I heard the voice of a giant angel acting as a bailiff say, “All rise for the ONLY Honorable Judge!” My father God, covered in glory, honor and power took His seat on the throne and the whole room shook. The front legs of His chair read righteousness and justice! (Psalm 89:14) Everyone stood in awe!
He looked in my direction and lovingly winked as though He had heard the cry of my heart! Jesus came from behind me, grabbed me up in his arms, moved me into his seat labeled “witness.” He then took my place in the seat of defendant. When the enemy turned to look at where I had been sitting, there had been a role reversal! To his surprise, the only innocent One sat in my place. He was unable to be tried because He had already paid the consequence for every sin on the cross.
God’s voice thundered, “Order in the Court” As He did, I saw the blood of Jesus wash over the list of complaints on the enemies scroll and immediately the paper became blank! It was white as snow! The Judge looked at me saying, “Will you testify of the character of the defendant?” I gushed with praise and adoration of the One who is perfect, unconditional love! The One who is blameless in all of His ways. The one that my heart loves! In the Jury box, sat people who had gone on to be in Heaven. They sat on the edge of their seats ready to cast their crowns in favor of the perfect lamb of God! The enemy screamed in denial and defeat saying “They’ve figured it out! I have no power without a legal right to use their God-given authority against them! I have no accusation that can come against the blood of Jesus!”
God then spoke to me saying, “Just as the battle for eternal life will be won in the courts of Heaven, so will the battle for the soul of this Nation be won in a court room!”
It’s not because one party is blameless or guiltless, far from it, but rather because a small remnant within one party has chosen to cry out in repentance (Like Abraham interceding for Sodom and Gomorrah), while another has chosen to defend and justify sinful living using their own hurts and woundedness from the past as an excuse. There is a people who are after the heart and will of God, who stand as witnesses to the sacrificial love of Jesus. Their humility and repentance will bring about unmerited favor and render a verdict of victory in the court!
I saw the court room once again. I saw Christians who voted pro-choice in the election sitting in the seat of the defendant. The same scenario began to play out. The Devil came with accusations to hold against them. Instead of recognizing their own faults, they came with their own list of grievances against others to use as excuses and justifications for their sin. I could feel the heart of Jesus in the witness seat. He was begging them to cry out in repentance so He could take their seat, but they refused Him because they didn’t want to let go of their offenses and unforgiveness. In order to receive His forgiveness, they had to be willing to forgive. When the bailiff announced, “All rise for the Only Honorable Judge.” God walked in on the scene, and this time, His face was like flint. The court room trembled! I knew in my heart that His wrath was not just about their unrepentant sin, but that they had denied His Son, Jesus.
The enemy was giddy as he declared the sins of this people group and it made me sick to my stomach. Murder, accomplices to murder, homosexuality, pride, bitterness, resentment, harboring unforgiveness, selfish deceit, the list went on and on, just as it did for the previous trial. The prosecutor walked up to the defendant and asked, “Did you, or did you not commit these crimes?” The defendant began rolling out his list of grievances thinking it would be a strong defense, “Yes, but my family was enslaved, there was injustice in the system, racism has kept us from advancing! People have hurt us and refused to fight for us.” God replied, “Those who have wronged you will also be tried in the courts when they stand before me. Vengeance is MINE! As for you, you are still guilty.” Fire from God’s throne consumed the lists of wrong (Jeremiah 23:29). The enemy immediately came with shackles to bind them up and hold them captive. I knew in my heart their consequence had been that they had been “given over to the Devil for a season.” (1 Corinthians 5).
This verdict was grievous to both the Father and Jesus. They would have preferred that people humble themselves in repentance. He would have preferred to live according to His perfect law. Since they didn’t, God had to enforce the consequence for the safety of others and themselves, just as any just judge cannot allow injustice to go unpunished for those who are completely unrepentant. I felt in my heart that the hardship they would face in the coming season would be the very thing that would break down the hardness and pride in their hearts and bring them to a place of recognizing their need for Jesus (Matthew 23:12)! God didn’t choose this way, they chose it through their lack of repentance. They chose it by prioritizing their personal grievances over the innocent lives of unborn. Here is the GOOD NEWS! God will use the hardship to turn their hearts back to him, just as He did with Israel time and time again! The Lord spoke to me saying, “The length of their sentence is dependent upon their humility and repentance." You don't have to stay bound a second longer! There is grace and mercy, and a love like you have never known awaiting you. All you have to do is choose to give your choice back to God!
Many may read this, and think it's harsh. They may look at it and think that judgement is cruel, but truly the judgement of God only comes to those who choose to walk outside of His covering. Judgement is simply experiencing the weight of sin’s consequences, because you've walked out from underneath God's protection by transgressing against His Word and refusing His grace. I've felt the heart of God, the one who knows the end from the beginning. The one who sees all and is only on the side of righteousness. As He has spoken clearly to me before, He is neither a republican or a democrat, and he is not confined to a system of man. He is the lover of our souls and will always choose what is best for us when we surrender our choice back to Him. His discipline is not about proving a point or stroking an ego, it is about growing us into the greatest freedom and joy we have ever known. Something that can only come by living according to His Word and communing with Him every single day, holding back nothing from Him. I write this with extreme heaviness of heart, in full intercession for those who have been wounded by others for those who have wrestled with faults of both parties within the voting process. I may not know the pain you've experienced, but I know a God who can heal it! There is no malice in my heart, simply heaviness and urgency to plead with people to repent so they don't miss out on the fullness of God! God loves you so deeply. This is not about condemnation, but about a conviction to change for the better. It's about fighting for the unborn the way you wish someone had fought for you! When you fight for others, God fights for you!

Romans 12: 14-21
"Bless those who persecute you. Bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but enjoy the company of the lowly. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Carefully consider what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible on your part, live at peace with everyone. Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” On the contrary, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in so doing, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
